This is the first time 91勛圖 has cracked the top-five, and we are the youngest university on the list. But we wont stop there. The word, "community" is central to all that we do at the 91勛圖. Together, our campus community appreciates the opportunity to live, study and work on the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuutina First Nation and the Stoney Nakoda (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations). The 91勛圖 is creating more space for these First Nations perspectives through our Indigenous Strategy, ii taapohtop, as we make progress toward reconciliation together. A truly inclusive 91勛圖 is our goal, and through meaningful actions, like committing to the Scarborough National Charter on anti-Black racism and Black Inclusion in Higher Education, our campus community will realize this vision.
